DESCRIPTION:The Ann Wesson Memorial Scholarships are presented to high school seniors by the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs in memory of one of our past presidents\, Mrs. Ann Wesson. Mrs. Wesson was a caring\, compassionate\, and tireless volunteer for the Mississippi Gulf Coast and an advocate for children in our community. Mrs. Wesson dedicated her life to the service of children and assisting them in reaching their goals. \nJunior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs will distribute up to $15\,000 total in scholarships distributed to 5 outstanding student applicants and will be paid directly to the recipient’s college or vocational/technical program to assist with costs. To be eligible to receive an Ann Wesson Scholarship\, students must reside in the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi Ocean Springs service area which includes the communities of Biloxi\, D’Iberville\, Woolmarket\, Ocean Springs\, St. Martin\, and Vancleave. Homeschool students residing in our service area are also eligible for consideration. \nA selection committee will review the applications and select award winners based on the following considerations: student need\, activities and community service\, academic achievement\, letter of recommendations\, and essay response. \nPlease complete the application and essay assignment and return it to your high school counselor or email JABOSLAHS@gmail.com by April 20\, 2023. \n\nAttach a copy of your high school transcript and highest composite ACT score.\nAttach one (1) letter of recommendation from a monitor
